The South East Flat Track (SEFT) not only offers a thrilling array of flat track racing classes but also fosters a strong sense of community among its participants. The South East Flat Track (SEFT) offers an exciting array of flat track racing classes, welcoming riders of various ages and skill levels to participate in thrilling motorcycle races. SEFT follows specific class rules to ensure fair competition and safety. Young riders, starting as early as age 8, can compete in classes like the 50cc 2-stroke and 50cc 4-stroke, using approved models such as Yamaha PW50, Suzuki JR50, and others. For riders aged up to 15, there's the 85cc 2-stroke class. Novices can join the Novice class with minimum rim diameters of 17 inches.
More experienced riders can participate in classes such as Open Amateur, Pro-Am/Sportsman A, and Expert, with minimum rim diameters of 17 inches and engine displacement restrictions. SEFTA also features specialized classes like Mad Dog Stock, Mad Dog Open, Vintage Light, and Vintage Open for those looking to ride classic motorcycles. In addition, there's a Senior 40+ class for riders aged 40 and above. For enthusiasts of larger motorcycles, the Hooligan class welcomes street bikes with engines of 750cc or larger. SEFTA provides a diverse and inclusive racing environment, with age-appropriate classes and various motorcycle categories, making it an exciting platform for both seasoned riders and newcomers to the world of flat track racing.
